Baby Camping Gear
Is there any reason I should not take my 2 year old son camping months?
My husband and I have a little disagreement. I think it would be perfectly safe to take our baby camping at this age, but my husband thinks he is too young. So is it any special camping gear you recommend for the baby if you do decide to go?
Go! Make sure your drinking water if formula feeding. And a little clean water to wash the bottles. Ask your pharmacist or a ped if you can use sunscrean at this age. Bring a bassinet or something so he can sleep inside. Do not forget the water layers and water toys! Have fun! And also, if you go on a boat or something to ensure they life jackets for babies … or something like that Good Luck. and goo! I totally would if the baby was not a baby October (snow already there at that time if driving on the road is like a dubious thing)! eta! – FUN you can also buy mosquito nets to save around the stroller or car seat and pack and play (perhaps a good idea to bring so you're not taking all the time and you can have a free hand to roast marshmallows).
