Well, the only good advice i can give you is to dress as yourself. I know you really want to watch ow nice i say that I understand it's a big problem for some, but to dress according to your personality. I mean for example just an example if you were a punk in high school so you want to keep something in your look that represent how you were at school. Add some earrings black or cool that you wear or something like that. Do not be like me you take me for example i regret my senior year photo accountant. I was sort of gothic punk rockish looking at school, but my sister dressed me and my makeup that I have never brought to the school and they put me in a freakn Gurly gurl. I hate this picture. You can look nice in your path. You should choose something that when you look at your picture it will remind you of how you actually use to be.
